Vaastu Shastra is the Indian science of architecture that provides knowledge on the principles of layout, design, measurements, organization of space and spatial geometry. The aim is to integrate architecture with nature using yantra or geometric patterns, symmetry and directional alignments. Vastu means 'dwelling', and is believed to be the residing places of god and man. According to its modern meaning it covers all buildings irrespective of their use like residences, industries, business establishments, lodges, hotels etc. It is based on the five basic and essential elements, such as Vayu (air), Agni (fire), Jal (water), Bhumi (earth) and Aakasha (space), which are known as Panchabhutas. Everything on earth is built from these elements. In addition, it uses directions of North, South, East and West. Planetary energies are also determined based on directions.

Palmistry, also known as palm reading, chiromancy or chirology is the practice of fortune-telling based on the study of the palms. Palmists may look at various qualities of the hand, including the shapes and lines of the palm and fingers; the color and texture of the skin and fingernails; the relative sizes of the palm and fingers; the prominence of the knuckles; and numerous other attributes of the hands. In most schools of palmistry, hand shapes are divided into four or eleven major types, sometimes corresponding to the classical elements or temperaments (Example: Air, Water, Fire, Earth). The mounds of the palm are also correlated with the planets.

Ayurveda is the traditional system of medicine written down in the Vedas that incorporates all forms of healing from diet, herbs, psychology to yoga. It provides an integral framework for looking at health from a physical, mental and spiritual point of view. It analyzes individual constitution based on three doshas or biological humours of Vata (air), Pitta (fire) and Kapha (water). It is intimately connected with Vedic Astrology for determining timing, nature and causes of disease and to provide appropriate treatment measures. It aids in Ayurvedic analysis, diagnosis and treatment by determining the position of planets that are related to health and healing.

Nadi Astrology is predominantly practiced in the state of Tamil Nadu in India and is based on the tropical zodiac system 2000 years ago when tropical and sidereal systems coincided with each other. They were written by Sages like Agastya who had developed high levels of consciousness to predict the past, present and future of individuals. The knowledge of Nadi is based on the 150 Nadis in a zodiac sign or 1800 across all 12 signs. They are categories into Movable, Fixed and Dual. A Nadi is a sum total of all divisions of a sign caused by the sixteen divisional charts (Vargas). The secret of the Nadi system is preserved in palm leaves that are preserved by families who studied this ancient system.
